I've had pretty good success in getting my truck ready for the race by using this spreadsheet that Razor sent me some time back.
I've made a few adjustments for my own advantage, but the changes are all based on math used by persons setting up real vehicles.
For instance, it will tell you if you need more positive/negative camber on the front tires. It will let you know if the truck is in a "loose", "tight" or "neutral" condition based on tire temps.
